I spent 1982-1984 creating mathematical models of that fuel flask and performing thermal analyses on it (basically checking that in the event of a fire, the internal temperature would not rise to the extent the the pressure would blow the lid off!)

Don't know why I had never got round to him, but I'm going through Disk World in order now. That's after not reading much through lockdown, so he's my way back into reading. Favourites so far is anything where DEATH FEATURES IN THE STORY, or witches. I really like witches, it's like having my mum in the story.
