Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

EON have just cut my Direct Debit.

I had a credit of £89 & paying £70 per month & they have cut it to £42, I'd rather keep it at £70 & them to hold the credit as I have a suspicion I will spend more on heating Dec - Feb than Jun - Aug ?

Just read them.

I'd rather be a little in credit to cover the winter - won't be letting things get over £100 in credit & very much doubt that will happen with £28 a month coming off - enjoying this mild December as haven't yet had to put the heating on :)

We had two hours free electric from 3-5pm today, followed by 1 hour low use from 5pm-6pm with Octopus. Was a productive 3 hours

I am p#ssed off that SO wants me to keep paying double what I use until I am £500 in credit! I cannot afford it, I am on very meagre benefits and having to pay private cancer treatment too. They were so good to begin with 😭

Next month I should be £100 in credit, so I am going to try and get my payments back down to what I spend, roughly... Which is £90... £15 more than in summer...

From personal experience don’t disagree with fozzy on the best way to pay your electric bill, it’s just not worth the hassle, particularly at Christmas, when you could be spending your time arguing with relatives you manage to avoid the rest of the year.

For consistency, I hope he has reported all of the ad hominem attacks he has been a victim of recently
