That will be £90 for the year if prices remain the same for the next year.
But energy price cap is calculated quarterly so next price change will be 1st October and prices may well drop further.

Average use is calculated at a reduction of £426. Roughly 17% drop in prices for all of us.

How much do they have to drop by to get anywhere close to e.g. 2021 prices? Isn't it about £1000 a year higher than it was?  G

For me, more than £1000 I am currently down for £2100 down from £2800. Used to be £800 ish...

My neighbour just made me look - import prices falling about 10%. Good news. Except we've just switched to a higher import price because we got a good export price and we export more than we import. The import price is falling 14%
And standing charge isn't falling at all. Robbing barstewards! G

I know I've mentioned this before, but does anyone else only have their hot water heated for just 10 minutes morning and night? It's more than enough and the water is always very hot, since moving in and reprogramming the timer I've also turned the overall system temperature down, but I think it might stand another click - I am really curious about how much heating oil I'm using daily, as I have no experience in this regard. I might try just 10 minutes in the evening and that's it, probably not required in the morning.
Things seem to have improved since I started to insulate the pipes in the garage/byre, the amount of heat that must have been lost is hard to contemplate - I can't believe it wasn't done previously.

p.s. that white stuff on the walls is actually old lime and horsehair render, it's very friable and you only have to touch it for the stuff to fall off. Behind that is about two feet of solid stone, I believe it would easily withstand cannon fire.
