Don't have to be an activist to change the way you live to support a better environment :)
I haven't been to any protests

I'm no greenie, but I like tech, and if I can combine being less damaging with being more techy then I'm all in favour! And even better if it saves me money along the way...

(Plus being hounded by my well qualified sister who disavows me of any foolish notions that it isn't as bad as most scientists are saying helps to convince me to be greener!)

Gobi - recycling will reduce your environmental footprint (assuming that the company contracted by the council where you live in isn't just dumping it in Turkey....), a bit (of course more important that you first *reduce* and then second *reuse* where possible).

*But* recyling has a negligible impact on CO2 emissions.

Like I said I'm not in any way Green and I dont pretend to be.

I ride bikes to race not to commute.

I have 4 motor vehicles.

If I can get an EV in the next year it will happen but like I say this is not really driven by environmental concerns.

I think you're the perfect consumer there though Gobi. The reality is most/ mamy will be put cash before ethics, so there challenge is to get people incentivised to be green by making it the good value option. I'm not so different to that either tbh.

Fizz :-)
I’ll admit my choice of car was ultimately down to the tax benefits, not the environmental.

When the bees are gone
And the air smells bad
The water tastes foul
And the sun stings that fair skin
That is what our children will enjoy

My daughter lives in the same world I do.

English water has always tasted foul
The air in London is dire

She is no better or worse than other people.
