It is difficult to measure your own and third party studies would be able to determine. UCL did one for the lockdown and found during the first 3 weeks, people’s overall well being improved and those who had mental issues either had no change or improved. I will find the study later

It's a mix of common sense and wishful thinking. I would call it an activist presentation.

As per Tony Seba (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-kbzfWzvSI&t=6s), we are looking at several disruptive technologies piling up on top of each other: - Solar PV - Battery Tech - Electric Vehicles - Autonomous vehicles
And these all feed back on each other too.
His thesis is that once EVs become *much* cheaper than ICEs (remember that they're already at parity once all lifetime costs are taken into account), it will be cheaper to hail a vehicle (uber style) that takes you where you want to go (and drives itself), why would anyone (unless you are uber wealthy and need a status symbol) want to buy a car?
There will still be private ownership, but it'll be far less than now.
He reckons that car ownership globally will fall to about 20% of current levels.
