Forecast for Sunday is quite good - maybe a bit warm for the slower runners. Not that us half-ers have much chance of overheating. I' be finished by 9.30, it's not often I have done a race by breakfastime.

The forecast I saw said 16. It would depend if it was 16 and sunny or cloudy.

Nope. No response from them at all. Doesn't surprise me in the least. I'm not missing the meal to sort it out - I'll just write my own name on and hope for the best!

I'm hoping that weatherspark is wrong, 19 and sunny: weatherspark.com

Are many people running in Fetch clothing or will I have to guess who you all are?

Shadow, will do, no problem! Not following a strict diet, just the principle. Nuts, Meat, Eggs, Dairy etc. Great timing - patio furniture arrives today so a BBQ is on the cards!

Seem to be just getting over this throat/sniff/lethargy which is perfect. Now just hoping the weather is kind. Accuweather says 17 and sunny. That's the problem, 16 weeks of winter/spring training in the cold/wet then race day is sunny. Planning 3-4 miles today and tomorrow then that's it!! Hopefully that will give me enough experience of a recent run in the sun......

doing the half this year instead of the full for a change...will be good just to watch the marathon as i'll be out on course somewhere cheering on clubmates and anyone i know or if i see a fetchie, then you'll get a random "go fetchie" shout :)
I hope not to be out on course to long during the half that the weather will become an issue!!

Funky plates Halstead was hot last week. I don't do heat, but rather than be horrendous it was a refreshing change from being freezing. I am a plodder though, so can take it easy in the heat. Hoping there will be some sea breeze. :-)

Right, that's everyone fmailed about the post race drinks. Quite a few replies too, so hopefully will be a good one. Better get prepared for the weekend now then. Now where's that suitcase.........?!! :-)
