Just wondered if anyone else was doing Edinburgh Marathon next year? My second time (did it in 2008). Hoping I can manage a PB and am working hard at runnig and getting weight down in preparation.

I'm in. How well I do depends on winter training and whether I get into London. And the weather. And my mood. Feck, it's going to be a disaster...

Sorry won't be doing it this year. Poor organisation at the end spoilt it for me last year. Enjoyed the course though, once we got out of the city.

When I did it last time, I enjoyed it. NOw my daughter is at Uni there - gives me an excuse to visit. But I remember being offered free potatoes - that was a bit odd. Surely the main thing is the course and the location. Course good - location awesome.

a drink of water once during 26.2 miles isnt much to ask is it ?
I did it twice in the good old days & loved the old course & hated the new one.
WA - thought I'd have a 40th crack at Windermere
