Upstairs in "The Wash Bar" 11 - 13 North Bank Street, The Mound, Edinburgh. Room available from 15.00 'til close, so arrive whenever you are ready.
Ideally located for Waverley Railway Station, and for the tourists (me!) Edinburgh Castle! Come and take the weight off your feet, meet new and old Fetchies, get something to eat and rehydrate.
Everyone welcome.
^^^^^ That's what i'm going to put in the header, the room is free all evening now, so looks like a good spot, and we can use the downstairs bar for drinks so no stress on numbers. People can come in from 3, so for those who are speedy if they want they can go straight there. I will probably be there about 5, as I'm slow and will want a shower! I am also going to fmail this to everyone on the entry list!!
Forecast for Sunday is quite good - maybe a bit warm for the slower runners. Not that us half-ers have much chance of overheating. I' be finished by 9.30, it's not often I have done a race by breakfastime.
Just wondered if anyone else was doing Edinburgh Marathon next year? My second time (did it in 2008.
