Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

There's a Greggs 10 minute crawl away from the finish line if that helps jacs205. Also a Costa Coffee next door to it. They do wonderful hot chocolate :)

Mothy and I will be in our green Macmillan. Mothy is yellow on the London Road start and I am gold (!) on the Regent Road start. This time next week....

Thanks to sponsorship from Stewarts there's a beer tent in the finish area. Is that a suitable venue for post race drinks?

I'll be in Macmillan green too. You'll find me in a small, sweaty heap in the Macmillan tent.

I had an email saying they had now decided to save the late entrants the trouble of collecting their numbers and are going to post them out next week instead. Next week??!!! :-0

Where have people gone for post race drinks in previous years? I booked this as I was told by many that the Fetchpoint and post race party are brilliant. Doesn't look like there's a Fetchpoint this year, so looking forward to a few Fetchie beers as I'm coming up on my own and also to help me nod off on the train home, as I was too tight to book a cabin so I'm in a chair!!

Looking forward to the pre race meal though McNewbie, thanks for organising. :-)

Argh! One week to go and I've come down with a cold and sore throat.
Dropped my med-length run today, sat home and ate biscuits feeling sorry for myself.
Advice needed! Do I drop all runs this week?

Rest up, eat chicken soup and try to think happy thoughts and not chest infections.
