Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

12 degrees my 10 forecast says - I'll take that.

My number problem is still worrying me. I've emailed but haven't received a reply yet. I really don't want to have to go to the hub to sort it out - arriving by train at 17.39 and going to meet up with McNewbie etc straight away. Will miss the meal if I have to go and sort out my number :(

jennywren - is there a number you can call them on?

I hope the mini-heatwave isn't right - although it's absolutely freezing out today (I'm about 30 miles west of Edinburgh). Something in between would be better! Re sweat-proof sunscreen - only wear it below your eyes and wear a hat to shade your forehead?

I finally got my number in this morning too.

No telephone number. You have to send a form rather than an email as well, although they say they will email back "as soon as they can". I'm not hopeful.

I am indeed in the Orange start. It's the first time I'll ever have started at the front of anything. Somebody rugby tackle me if I go off like Patrick Makau. I'm only supposed to be on 9:00 mm.

A 44 bus to the city centre takes about 40 minutes where you can pick up another to the airport. I haven't used that service before but I can't imagine the express taking more than another three quarters of an hour.

Dick!
is it just me but i have logged on to the "my details" thing on the web site and can not find any race instructions as promised , just the bus ticket I ordered . Still no number and not happy and beginning to regret this whole thing now ...... you really do not need to stress about the stuff you pay a lot of money for others to do for you when all you should be stressing about is the run ..... heard a lot of bad things about the organisation , or lack of , but took a chance ...hmmmmmm
