Silverstone half. Especially the later miles when you're going round and round the service tracks. Dear lord!

Leeds Abbey Dash 10k - it's an out and back on not the most scenic of roads.

Though I suppose having to avoid the heels of 8000 other runners in close proximity does add a certain frission of excitement..

The old Great Scottish Run 10k (they have changed the route this year) route. Dull and nothing inspiring about running over the Kingston Bridge. Why people get excited about that I'll never know.

Faversham marathon with 40 laps ought to be dull but it's too social for that.

The Grantham canal 30ish milers are deadly, especially when you run it in one direction on Saturday and t'other on Sunday.

Reading Half ought to be dull, but I didn't particularly find it so. Except, that is, for the last stretch going around 'Green' Park before going into the stadium. That was a soul-destroying three miles.

I quite enjoyed the Luton marathon. Seriously. My favourite bit was along the side of the A5 when you start to run away from Luton.
