Interesting perceptions Chiefy - I thought the NSPCC one was far more exciting than the Nike one - but admittedly, it IS Milton Keynes, so you're starting from a pretty low threshold...

Bath half is a bit dull. 2 laps and you don't see any of the nice bits.

I did a Regent's Park 10km once. The issue was it was basically three loops. First time it was fine, second loop mildly interesting, third loop was incredibly dull.

I am going to be stereotypical and say the thought of one lap around Luton is enough!

Agree with Ultracat about the Aberdeen 10k being fairly dull. Unfortunately most Aberdeen races (including our beloved parkrun) seem to take place largely along the beach prom (flat and straight, but frequently grey, windy and monotonous). The novelty does start to wear off after a while.

I haven't done Luton but I'm fascinated by it. Three laps of Luton? Bloody hell, that's a life sentence. (I spent a week in Luton one afternoon.)
