Congratulations Mandymoo , how wonderful to have a new grandson ![]() Thank you Sharkie not sure I am deserving of the newt of the day but very much appreciated, I shall choose a newt tomorrow morning. The hedgehog came back 3 times last night! The new configuration confused the mouse but not the hog, this morning we had 2 goldfinches at the water dish and then a single greenfinch ![]() My newt today was to go to a spin class 2 days in a row, not sure my bottom appreciated the saddle 😂 I had a disaster when my shoelace caught in the pedal, the instructor had to release me 😂 a test of endurance this evening as my aching legs are going on a club run, hoping it will be gentle 🤞🏻 |

Both my baby magnolias are flowering, as are two of my three camelias. One, in a pot, is flowering for the first time. Had it for years, but I invariably forget to water it at some point over summer so it doesn't set flowers. The one I bought, then nearly killed by not watering regularly after planting last year isn't flowering. To be honest, I am thankful it is alive at all! |

My newt today was a recording of the first episode of a new series of a podcast I'm a volunteer presenter of. I must have got a bit out of practice during the time we were off air though because I wasn't terribly pleased with my performance (darlings) so I'll say no more and not direct you to it ![]() |

Odd newt for me today - accepting that I won't run 100 miles this month for the first time in 16 months - and that I don't mind!! ![]() |

Love Amelanchiers! In fact, I got a Newt one waiting to be planted. I have 3 older specimens already. I love the berries, if I can beat the birds to them.

Started a newt book. Elmet, Fetch bookgroup book I had completely forgotten I had bought! I think it was January's choice.
