You're clearly not a Prince fan Happy- he was quite the meteorologist and knew all about the vagaries of Spring weather

(I know we're still in March :-) )

Sometimes I'm up for it, but that warm spell for last 10 days was lovely.

Actually, I don't mind cold and bright, but not wet and stormy and cold. Euch.

And I guarantee Prince didn't spend his springs in East Central Scotland! :-) G

It feels like snow here this morning: only just above freezing!
I put an electric fan heater on, powered by my newt power point in my drying shed, to stop it from getting too cd in there.
Electrics have now been signed off and tested and certified in my newt building.
Just the internal doors and a bit of timber in the disabled loo to fit and I can get it signed off for hygiene standards to use and insure.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
The news of a spring baby is precious and wonderful :-)

However I am torn between Mandymoo walking the dog listening to the dawn chorus and HappyG(rrr) cooking for the first time in a long while in an effort to drop a bit of weight. Both are activities I hope will be replicated and maybe even become a habit, I have chosen :-)G as today’s winner as I hope it will encourage him to take a step further and start creating meals from scratch.

From the way :) G has previously described his usual diet I think that's a brilliant choice, Mrs J.

Aw shoot, that means i have do dome cooking, or assembling as Sharkie quite rightly critiqued it as! Even the sauce was ready made!

Right, I'm going to buy a frying pan /wok with my winnings. Oh, hang on, no winnings. Errr. Well with the money I'm saving on not buying bags of sweets every day!

You lot are funny. But thanks for being inspiring and challenging too!

I've dropped 1.1 kg already btw. Though that might have been just sweat after a warm run! :-) G

Wow! If one home cooked (constructed) meal can drop you 1.1kg just think how you’ll feel if you keep it going :)

I wrote a Newt blog about my Newt relationship with my deceased mother...
Everything feels Newt:
Me
My life
My house
My garden
My Newt work building
I am changing the way I work as of tomorrow!
Less gardening, more herbalism!
I have re-newt my herbalism studies and re-newt my greenhouse, my drying shed and my house.
Everything, just everything is not just NEWT but also experienced a-NEWT with NEWT eyes!

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
