Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Don't panic Jenny. We may well have got that whole leggings/skorts/capris/shorts dilemma done and dusted and tied up with a big red bow. Perhaps someone needs to start a dedicated thread?

Onwards!

sorry nope not sure what this makeup and jewellery that you speak of are!?

Not touched either for almost a year .... I do wonder if I need to bin my makeup in all seriousness. Does it actually get old and manky or is that just a sales ploy to get us to buy more?

I love the collectable sticker newt! I had a different breakfast cereal today I bought it when I went shopping the other night thinking I hadn't tried this variety before but on reflection I think I probably have - a long time ago and that I probably decided then I wasn't going to buy it again. Oh well, it was on special offer!

Throw out the make-up you've started using and then not used for ages, Pix. Unopened stuff should be fine. Most people who use old mascara or whatever don't develop an infection or skin sensitivity as a result, so in that regard the advice is a bit hysterical, but if you do get an itchy spotty rash on your face you've got it 100% and it's a proper nuisance.

Besides, after a year it's time for a different look ;)

My newt today is eating a banana flavoured malt loaf bar/cake thingy for the first time.
I love malt loaf and I love bananas - not quite sure about banana-flavoured Soreen though. I might like malt loaf with sliced banana on top of it though ....

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
