I like panache sports bras. I love woolly hats but wear the same two all the time.

Which is why a hood has to be a good hood. I good hood STAYS UP, has room for hair, and - importantly - doesn't make you look like a weirdo. (or much of a weirdo)

Red and blue good hoods - Innov jacket and Blue rain Mac.

I like my inov-8 jacket - hood with adjustment at the back to make it fit and the wire in the little peak at the front - would be fab if the jacket didn't fit me 20lb lighter!

I can't wear hoods as they play havoc with my hearing aids and I just get static feedback the whole time

I bought a rat race jacket and the hood is amazing with same back adjustment and at the sides with a peak that can be out or in.

My ronhill waterproof hood is also excellent fit I’d quite like a light weight one for race kit but I worry about the hood. I’m eyeing up an inov8 one.

I have an odd newt. I had banana and condensed milk. It wasn't very nice. I was trying to jazz up my banana so I wouldn't eat the millionaire's shortbread that LittleD made and we had open condensed milk. Not to be repeated.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
