I was converted by this thread to the way of the ennell Fleecy. Not quite the way of the samurai but a commitment nonetheless you have to really buckle up

I have problems with hoods because I usually have a ponytail, so they won’t stay up.

That's why I rarely wear a hat or a hood of any description Maz, I wear two plaits when out on the hills if I'm likely to need a hood but can rarely find enough elastics to do that all the time.

I put my hair in a pony tail then twist it before wrapping round the pony tail then stick a scrunchy round it
works!
I fear my hair will need a bigger swim hat soon though
and I can't wear a bike helmet with a bun so plait it is!

my hair is down past my waist - but it's getting thin and straggly these days. Probably about time I had a grown-up haircut!

I got Raffo to chop a couple inches off the back of my hair. It's half way down my back... but not past my waist! I usually have a ponytail, occasionally plaits.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
