In fact it would be fair to say that after getting thumped in the first test in that series, panesar turned it around with his 11 wickets in the 2nd test and 5 in the 3rd that really did the damage and outbowled swann to some extent.

I won't hear a word said against Monty's batting - I was there in Cardiff the day that he and Jimmy batted the day out to save a test.

(TBF, I can still remember the collective groan as Monty came down the steps after Collingwood was dispatched)

Collingwood 74 from 245 balls. I saw the first 2 days. Bopara batted at 3!

Rahane doing his best to fight back this morning.

I fear the nagging accuracy of Boland when it comes to the Ashes.

I fear England trying to whack balls that aren't there to be hit, lol. There was one win last year when Stokes said they realised they needed to be a bit more circumspect. Hoping they play the conditions appropriately. I guess we should expect flat tracks to help tilt it towards being able to be gun ho though.

They were also talking about shorter boundaries on TMS.

Few things funnier in the world than when the oppo takes a “wicket” with a no ball

They are, well in at the corners. This shows, at least, you can get after them a bit, but I can see a few early wickets v England....Duckett, Crawley....

Close second is when Steve Smith burns a review on a potential edge, only to find that the ball was several inches from the bat :-)

Didn't they used to say about England, "Three out, all out?"
