Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm sure Cook would welcome Warne with open arms, given the constant criticism of his captaincy Warne has been dishing out!

I saw Monty bowling in an Essex 20/20 match a few weeks ago. Utter dross, I'm afraid. Gareth Batty? Adam Riley? whatever happened to Adil Rashid who was so hyped about 5 years ago?

I'm afraid Kerrigan isn't playing well enough to be selected (and I'm a Lancashire member). His was at its best a couple of seasons ago and this season he hasn't justified an England call up in my view. Of the Lancashire spinners I would pick Stephen Parry before him but he's mainly bowling in 20/20 at the moment -and has done so for England so he's probably ill equipped for a long test match. Gareth Batty would be a safe choice, someone who can do a job without being spectacular until we find something better or until Kerrigan hits some form.

Lancashire are 2nd bottom of the 1st division so if he's to do anything he could start bowling some bunsen burners for us !

Morning all, I read thismorning that the pitch was uder a tarpaulin, rather than just covers. I reckon they are trying to get some zip and pace in it, good if we win the toss....

Don't think he did anything worse than take his shirt off, though, did he? If that's bringing the game into disrepute, then so are pretty much all the SA and Oz players. Really not in Monty's league.
