Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If Jimmy's lost his nip, perhaps he can open the batting...

Fabulous.

I liked the fact that his previous highest score was for Burnley in the Lancashire League, 49 not out -opening the bat (!!)

Brilliant by Jimmy. Mainly dealing in elegant boundaries - 17 fours to Rooooot's 15. Match-saving innings.

And brilliant bowling by Cook, too. Well, wicket-taking, anyway. I think we need to calm him down about his batting by letting Jimmy open the batting and Cookie take a few more overs.

Bet it does his morale no end of good; he looked so happy with it, surely he'll be unable to help smiling when he thinks back to this Test.

England need a proper spinner and neither Moeen nor Kerrigan are it. Discuss.

And neither is anyone else. Monty probably pisses over the other contenders, but that's his pedigree...

What with also pissing all over nightclub bouncers, probably not the ideal pick at the moment. I hear he's gone AWOL again after bowling badly for Essex then going out and causing trouble. If he could just keep the heid, he'd probably be back in the England side now, but as things are, no chance.
