Botham, Willis, Gower (he seemed to be able to bat though). Boycott, he was shite as a Captain too....... Ayway, just in general, PITCH IT UP, is all we had to do yesterday..... I fear we will coe up 100 short. Prior is out of form to with gloves and the bat, and hislong-term place is unsure.....it only reallistically leaves Bell, who is also untried as a captain, and unreliable batting wise just now.........Broad, maybe, but nobody welse would get the balll hmmmm

Only questions remain now is can the weather wrote most of tomorrow off and earn us an undeserved draw, and will we at least put up enough of a fight - with Cook among the runs - to save Cook's captaincy. An abject surrender and Cook gone cheaply and surely the gig is up and something has to be done now.
