Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I’ve not been shopping for about 10 days. But I don’t think my ex has been doing this stuff. Plan to run down all stocks before venturing out. Partly as got no money coming in.

I'm already shopping less than once a week, it seemed logical as it's surely by far our biggest outside contact of the week. Local supermarket is generally quiet, rather larger than the town really needs I think. Which makes it a relatively pleasant experience compared to most! I don't wash anything, it really seems like a pretty implausible risk.

As well as his post at the top of the last page, Canute wrote a blog fetcheveryone.com/blog/13360/2020/3#blog404337 about the measures he is taking. It is all based on basic hygiene and cross infection control.

fraggle (and ChrisHB), sorry, my comment about masks at the top of page 408 wasn't meant as criticism, but intended as being things to consider.

We did start off wiping stuff down. But it's a little impractical for a big shop. Just sticking with hand washing.

Just on a practical note: cars. We went out in mine on Weds morning, just to Tesco a mile away. That car also did get an outing last Friday, around 22 miles (picking up office chairs from work). But Chris's has sat on the drive for over a week. Can we assume that (a) we need to take them out occasionally if they are not to seize up, and (b) this is essential stuff?

I’ve left my car for almost a month when we’re we’re away last year - started fine first time. Not sure how it will date after linger period than this though? I know nothing about cars but I think I recall hearing that lots of very short hornets not good for battery?
