Well wasn’t sick after the covid jag this time which is a bonus. I did feel a bit shivery and weak last night 24 hrs on and thought oh no. Today I have a rash on my belly. A rash very like the one I had before I tested positive for covid. I feel 100% though and tested negative just before I took MiL shopping just in case.

I'm struck down again now. Felt a bit off Friday night then gradually went downhill Saturday, felt horrendous overnight Saturday so did a test yesterday morning as it felt the same as when I had it last time. Very definite positive 2 lines came up so I've been in bed pretty much ever since.

Was gutted to miss the final league race yesterday morning which I'd been targeting but I don't think I'd have even got out of bed for a £20 note (isn't that the test

...to gage if you are 'really' unwell?!

No idea what thus mean now for the rest of my autumn season. Last time (2 yrs ago) it took me about 6 weeks to get back to where I'd been beforehand. At least I'm not under house arrest for 10 days this time so I will start going out for easy walks outside when I feel up to it..

OH reporting lack of taste, but a negative test. I think I gave it to him, but I got negative tests too. I think I convinced him to wear a mask when going shopping etc, but he's off to work today (probably without one). We have very differing views on dealing with the whole thing.

I won't be going anywhere indoors/ close proximity to others whilst I'm testing positive. I currently don't feel up to it any any case!

Sorry to hear that Clare. Hope you recover quickly.

Are the tests still effective? I know in family all with similar symptoms, one tests pos, other neg. :-) G

Thanks :-)G. As far as I know. I stockpiled some when they were readily available and they are still 'in date' for what it's worth. I have no doubt that it's what's causing me to be unwell. If I was unwell with a negative test or had a positive test with no symptoms I'd be more dubious...

Ah Clare sorry to hear you've succumbed :( I've only had Covid once so far.

Can I ask how is everyone feeling about vaccines? Is everyone having them that can have them? I have one tonight but I'm still nervous about having it put in me :(
