My sisters lab has a research agreement/collaboration with Pfizer. Feel that’s the one I should be having 😂

I did have the booster offered, but thought about it more than on previous occasions. Definitely decided for me that it was less risky than the infection.
I've definitely had covid once, confirmed by test, and wasn't very unwell with it (triple jabbed by the time I caught it).
Two days since the vaccination and nothing worse than a tender arm.

There are risks in both having and not having the vaccines, but IMO the balance of probabilities comes out so firmly on the side of having it that it’s a bit of a no-brainer. Even without considering the risks to others around me.

It’s not just that the side effects are probably much less severe than the disease, but also the (possible) side effects are now when I don’t care much, the disease might be just before a marathon I’ve trained months for, or a number of other planned events.

Been invited for a jab this year which surprised me, as not had one since a winter booster which I assume was winter 2021. Suspect I know fit one of the vulnerable criteria following a recent health check.

So I’ll get done next Monday

I think there is talk of the Novavax vaccine being made available soon for those who don't get on with the mRNA vaccines.

Indeed jda!
As I am allergic to certain substances in a lit of pharmaceuticals, I cannot have them. I could have Janssen, under ICU supervision, but as that was only one shot, because of the way it works, it would not give me access to the USA and Austria for example so I deemed it not worth the risk. Hard to get too, according my GP at the time and now I am immuno compromised so cannot have it any more.
