"Thanks but no thanks."

The saddest stories always belong to the soldiers who got killed just before Armistice Day. Don't wanna be that soldier...

Of their injuries? What about in band of brothers with the road accidents involving drunk GI's. Not the way you wanna go.

You need a lot of space at a vaccination centre to park people 2m apart for fifteen minutes so that they can be observed post jab. Testing centre staff unlikely to be able to administer injections. Things definitely progressing with my recruitment/training though my injury may change that.

Yesterday, I went for a walk in a Park and then along the Coast Path. Stopped more than once, always physically distanced, for a wee blether. Risky. Not in my book.

ScotGov Level 4 advice is that 2 families of up to 6 people can socialise outdoors or in a public place (physically distanced). Not sure what "public place" means, as they're all shut lol

In Skipton they were doing it through the car window, the recipient didn't need to get out at all and just sat there afterwards. There was also a gazebo (lent from my running club!) set up to make extra space for people to sit.

I also wonder if they might abandon or at least shorten the 15 min thing once more have had with with (hopefully) minimal issues. We used to be asked to wait for 5(?) mins after flu jabs in Boots but the the surgery pushed us straight out the door this year. Though that could also be a Boots vs surgery difference.

Tim probably meeting folks for a walk is safest option. Although I met a friend for a walk yesterday on beach prom and it was very busy. As she said it would be safer on the hills where you meet no one but not allowed just now.
