forest plodder Dec 2020 3:08pm, 31 Dec 2020 600 posts	0 forest plodder Any opinions on only giving one dose of the Phizer vaccine for the time being (apart from the chaos and work arising from cancelling thousands of appointments for the second dose, and having to book new people in their place)? I just have no confidence the decisions are "following the science" at all. I know with the Oxford trials quite a few volunteers didn't have their second dose for up to twelve weeks but don't think there's much data for other regimens with the Phizer one.

At 5 minutes each they reckoned that's about 193 hours work for someone...(My maths makes it more like 97 hours. Still a lot though.

But year 11 have iGCSE Maths exam on 7th January, so our school has to open for them (as far as the school know the exam is going ahead!). fortunaely does not affect my daughter (lower 6th) but what a nightmare for those children, their parents and the teachers
