Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Looks like "congenital heart disease" might be the trigger for him - though it doesn't feel like a "disease" I believe septal defects carry that classification.

Will follow up with medics of course.

Does appear that being post-op doesn't drop you into any category though, which is reassuring. I suppose he just didn't want to catch covid in the few days post op as that would have been a tough complication. That period is over now though, so I'll chill.

Thanks Pinks hadn't spotted that. Odd as my understanding of the research was that DS had been discounted as a higher risk, but if he's on there, he's on there!

I've had tickle throat, headache, shivers, flushes and achy body for 4 days. Haven't been testing though, think I've run out of them. My symptoms are pretty minor, so to be honest, I'm afraid I'm treating it just as a cold/flu, whatever it might be.

Jaks, hope you don't feel too bad and recover quickly. My only (tested) bout was pretty minor. :-) G

I’ve had to take a test as I’m supposed to be covering for someone at work on Wed and we see a lot of vulnerable people at work. We have a cottage booked in the Peak District this weekend where we are meeting up with my daughter and granddaughter so hoping it will be negative in a few days.

I don't know whether that's "bad luck" or "well done for getting this far", so I'll say get well soon luck
