Looks like "congenital heart disease" might be the trigger for him - though it doesn't feel like a "disease" I believe septal defects carry that classification. Will follow up with medics of course. Does appear that being post-op doesn't drop you into any category though, which is reassuring. I suppose he just didn't want to catch covid in the few days post op as that would have been a tough complication. That period is over now though, so I'll chill. |

Thanks Pinks hadn't spotted that. Odd as my understanding of the research was that DS had been discounted as a higher risk, but if he's on there, he's on there!

I've had tickle throat, headache, shivers, flushes and achy body for 4 days. Haven't been testing though, think I've run out of them. My symptoms are pretty minor, so to be honest, I'm afraid I'm treating it just as a cold/flu, whatever it might be. Jaks, hope you don't feel too bad and recover quickly. My only (tested) bout was pretty minor. ![]() |

I’ve had to take a test as I’m supposed to be covering for someone at work on Wed and we see a lot of vulnerable people at work. We have a cottage booked in the Peak District this weekend where we are meeting up with my daughter and granddaughter so hoping it will be negative in a few days.

I don't know whether that's "bad luck" or "well done for getting this far", so I'll say get well soon ![]() |
