Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I think it's worth considering what qualifications and experience that Campbell person brings to his analysis of the data. I haven't encountered him before but it doesn't sound like he has much if any.

It’s all very well saying train more vaccinators, military to assist etc, unless we can have a venue that fits more than 40 in the observation area at a time, we cannot do more than we are already doing. Two centres with 40 seats each for an entire city is woefully inadequate - this is why we can’t offer walk ins

I thought there was talk at one point of reducing the observation time post boosters but I could be wrong.

Must say that OH took his ‘turn’ within 5 minutes of his recovery time.

are you disputing the source of the data that he uses?

I'm saying that I won't give credence to anyone who advocates deliberately getting oneself infected.

In the first round of vaxing we had no observation areas. You could go sit in your car and go into allergic shock all on your own. I have no idea what you were supposed to do if you felt poorly.

Although perhaps if you could get to the car you were unlikely to go down and if you collapsed on the way someone might see you.

OH wasn’t allowed to drive himself home…they insisted he got someone to come for him..

He is going back tomorrow with a box of chocolates for them as they were all very quick to see he wasn’t right.

It’s the product licences and the national protocol which should be being adhered to - AZ is advised not to drive for 15 minutes, no observation mandated, Pfizer and Moderna both have 15 minutes ob’s as part of the obligatory protocol
