um Jul 2021 4:17pm, 29 Jul 2021 4,982 posts	0 um It's odd - with supposed number of infections and 'pingdemic', I'm not seeing swathes of last minute holiday home availabilty. Could it be people aren't isolating or aren't risking things (infection or ping) before holidays?

There's no legal obligation to self isolate if pinged and no one checking so it would be easy to convince yourself that despite what the app thinks you're sure you couldn't have been exposed and you have no symptoms so why would you get a test and after all it's nearly the 16th August so what's the point in doing it now?

It wasn’t too bad with our turbo trainer and home gym to keep up with some exercise. Wouldn’t want to do it again mind you. No holiday abroad booked until we are sure we don’t have to quarantine on return.

It's tough not going out apart from the garden but I'll manage it. Probably helps that I feel under the weather so don't have any energy to burn off!
