She has now deleted it off her phone as the only likely "contact" must have been passing walkers on top of the ridge. She has done a lateral flow test and is negative. I am not fussed, I haven't been inside with her or near enough for it to be a concern... I do think it shows the pitfalls of the system though!!! Technically, we now all have to isolate AND tell everyone else we have bern in contact with to do the same... Very tenuous in this case!!! Common sense has been applied.

The app is currently supposed to report contact with an infected person for fifteen minutes or more 2 m or less - doesn’t sound like that would be passing walkers. The delay is in people testing and getting the results, not a fault in the app.
