Depends if you want to not isolate due to inconvenience or if you want 10 days off work at the tax payers expense, or to get out of attending court. It works either way.

Its not a fake pilot, someone mentioned it in their blog yesterday and I know people on it. The pilot is needed to work out what happens when those jabbed don’t need to isolate come August or whenever the change is

What is the testing pilot? I’ve not been keeping up with news lately beyond the BBC updates I get on my phone?

If you get pinged, some people are getting the option of a daily lft but being allowed out rather than isolating unless they test positive. Makes sense, if youve been double jabbed, less likely to catch and less likely to pass on. IF the lft is sufficiently sensitive/accurate AND folks do the test each day, this should work really well as a way forward when all jabbed. Of course there are two big IFs there |

Not liking the plastic waste implications of a large number of people testing every day though

Not fake then, just convenient that all the ministers that came into contact with Javid have been selected.

They have relented and will isolate. Good outcome but bad route to get there.
