No location info either.
Time and location subject to privacy approach, so no real way of tracking where or who. Unless you've only been to one place that day.

I just feel like we are strapped in on the ride now and whatever happens is gonna happen. I hoped we'd be somewhat back to normal by the autumn. Not at all sure now. It's been an awful mess.

Feels like this wave may hit younger people harder.

I am sick of hearing the government say things about common sense.

BK brighter days ahead
Thanks Um - so the only certainty is the date someone gets the ‘ping’. Actual phone to phone contact with the positive case could have been at any place or time in the previous week or longer ( depending on when the positive person was tested and registered the result on the app).

Interesting update from work. When we do go back to the office (19th in England, TBC in scotland), testing to come into the office won’t be mandatory but they “expect” us to be conducting twice weekly LFTs as per NHS guidelines.

I’m currently ignoring those guidelines as I don’t really agree (and think they would have been rolled out more effectively if that important) so it’s a funny one. I’m also unclear as to whether they’re actually saying some kind of testing is indeed mandatory.

I don’t know as I’ve not had a long but she said it satiated Saturday or the info it gave went back to Saturday. They had only been to vax Centre.

Her friend also was able to work it out and only place she’d been was the beer garden with a friend who also got a ping.

Both of them work from home and had also been nowhere else for a few days prior or after (as far as they disclosed)

I personally think if you get a ping from phone to phone contact it’s unreasonable to expect you to isolate unless you know there was potential you had been with or close enough to another person.

On gvmt asking people to use common sense many will but the same ones who didn’t adhere to the rules or very reluctantly did won’t. But I do know of people I’d consider sensible and conscientious have thrown the towel in after the while euros crowd thing

I was considering a visit to my friend in Majorca but after speaking to her yesterday, decided it wouldn't be this year after all. The announcement today is that it's going back on our amber list, along with some of the other green list places.
