Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Lol, I got blisters doing it. And a sore bum. We do need to change to "Time for 2000m" or "Time for 5000m" at some point, as those are the "official" Concept 2 distances. Then we can become Concept 2 league junkies too (they have a website, a league, and a FaceBook app!! :-O ) Might give it a go tonight after Bodypump. :-)G

I got blisters the first few times I rowed 5k but don't any more. Seems like gloves would help. Still get a sore bum though! :-o

Was going to give it another go last night but circuits class crippled me.

I am liking the 15 mins as an addition to the 2K, the effort levels are slightly different because it is about maintaining a high level for longer rather than top whack for a shorter time.

if we did change it to 5k and 2k rows, as happy said, then it would open up the option for duathlon rankings based on summing the rows with your pb's for 5k and 1mile runs.

i suppose you could also have 10k duathlon ranking, but i certainly wouldnt feature in it.

Please, can we keep the 15 mins, I seem to be doing OK at that but will be instantly outclassed by the faster runners below me if we go to duathloning and be at the bottom of the table.

^ agreed. Not about IM's position, but about this being a time thing and not a duathlon thing :)
