Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Had a chunk of Christmas pudding and creme fraiche to put hair on my chest after climbing gorilla

Must wrap small pressies for the ancestors. I didn't do any other wrapping. Kidults got bank transfers.

Sushi.
I didn’t but any wrapping stuff this yr as using up everything I already have.

Glitter and plastic free recycable stuff only being bought but had to mix with less ‘friendly’ stuff I still had.

Not much to wrap as I don’t buy for many or but much.

Knitted loads of headbands (7) for friends I knew would like and use but just gave them as finished them.

Today was spent finishing the trifle. Bike ride. Leftover lunch of salmon en route...nice walk now a quiet beer. Tonight is pork pie and cheese. All calmed down as smaller children just left for other grandparents house.

Contemplating parkrun tomorrow.

Took dad out for our Christmas lunch. Quite the mission. If you've never had to manoeuvre an exceptionally tall person with no balance and a tremour into and out of a wheelchair repeatedly, and also manoeuvre said wheelchair around tight corners, over uneven ground, around tables, chairs and children and over annoying little steps and lips in doorways (whilst trying to hold the door open with one hand and push the chair with the other) you won't grasp just how bleeding knackered I am.

Was it worth it tho Speedy? I hope so :)
I do think that "wheelchair access" only ever seems to apply to not having steps to the front door. Beyond that, it can be well nigh impossible to navigate round a building.

Anyone near a radio from 17:30 tonight tune in to Classic FM to hear the Children and the Arts annual carol concert that I was part of with my work choir. Celebrity readers include Jeremy Irons, Patricia Routledge and a Brian Blessed doing the Night Before Christmas.
