Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The children’s presents are wrapped, just Mrs D’s to do when she pops out in a minute. This is such a relief as normally we end up doing it late on Christmas Eve.

lunch has been the various elements of things that go into a Festive Chocolate Trifle ... only tasters of course, just to make sure that it's all OK before I put it in.... well maybe more than a taster of the chocolate custard actually........

I love sprouts (steamed) and have them all year round.

OH went to pick up the turkey crown this morning from the local butcher just opened recently. We are going to son-in-law's mum for Christmas so we were having that on Boxing Day. They had no note of my order, even though I saw it being written down in a book when I paid the deposit!!! They had no crowns left, so he came home with a huge boned turkey joint and they wouldn't take any more money for it as it was their mistake they said. Good job we all like turkey :)

That's a score DQ, even if a little stressful.

Nice!

Mr Ness and I are staying in an Airport hotel before our flight out to Tenerife tomorrow morning. Not sure what will be on the menu this evening. Haven’t bothered with any lunch still full up after Wetherspoon’s breakfast this morning! :-o
