Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Come down with a cold overnight, can't be bothered to get proper food, mainly relying on Quality Street for nutrition.

Mrs WM's parcel didn't arrive (no panic as not needed until New Year). Been to Tesco for beer for me and the lads. We're now hiding in various rooms as Mrs WM wanted the kitchen to herself while she preps various food items whilst listening to festival of 9 lessons and carols.

No wrapping here for me as it was a 2018 resolution to.cut down on waste, I haven't wrapped a present all year. Its made it much easier just throwing everything in my wardrobe and getting them out tomorrow morning. Obviously it helps not having young kids anymore.

I've still got a few things to wrap, but not as many as usual. Hopefully it won't be too late a night. I was thinking about waste tho, because wrapping paper doesn't recycle does it? We used to burn it, but since we moved we don't have a fire.

What a fantastic idea to save on waste *and* the stress of wrapping!

I saw a video the other day that suggested you screw the wrapping paper into a ball. If it stays in a ball, then it’s recyclable. If it springs out of shape then it’s likely to have some plastic content and therefore isn’t recyclable. Hope that helps.

We use brown paper for wrapping. It burns or recycles. And with a bit of ribbon or a stamp, looks really nice too.

Did not enter today advent but I love the sentiment behind the challenge. I feel totally relaxed but that's cause I'm going out to a hotel for Christmas lunch, I'm not so sure about the flowers I asked OH to get though so may need to pop out.

No wrapping here, either. No presents to wrap.

I have just eaten an entirely home made mince pie, and I am making a stollen, though. That's quite festive enough for me.

I re-use nice wrapping paper or papery 'stuff' I've collected.

Mind you I haven't wrapped anything this year ... because I haven't really bought any presents.
