Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Can highly recommend Slapton Sands too. Very helpful staff, lovely site, clean toilets and showers. Very beautiful area, 5 min walk to beach and across road from a nature reserve

Rosehip, I read your post initially as near Brothel, not Bothel.

I started to wonder what sort of holiday you were on!

I'm a member. I use it to get access to certificated sites that are very basic and not open to the public. So far I think we are getting our money's worth.

seeing as the camping season is in full flow again I thought I'd wake this thread up with a couple of questions - although it might be better on the Lake District thread...

Has anyone camped at Hollows Farm in Grange?

and Castlerigg Farm campsite - also don't take bookings, do they get full often?

Sorry Rosehip no idea - we are off to Keswick on 15th June but booked that last year.

We are off to Heathfied in Sussex this weekend - rather than have party for youngest grandsons 1st birthday we are going camping

Just because I'm lurching back into Caravan season mode - time to wake up camping and caravan club thread!!

After having spent the time up to New Year in an adequate, but but rather basic site the top at Filey Country Park, and then managed to land a spot for New Year's Eve on the CAMC site in Cayton Village, I really appreciated the facilities in the slightly-up-themselves club site much more!

So much so, that I pre-booked between Christmas and over New Year in Bridlington CAMC site on January 1st. :-)

Bridlington CMC was our first trip in our campervan, MMM. A mile walk to Sewerby to join to cliff path to the town - can't beat it.
