Can I just ask, O quimblesworth... is there any dystopia in it? Also is there a middle-aged, middle-class, white, American man having a crisis of confidence/faith/marriage?

I haven't read it yet, McG! I think there might be a middle-aged white American man in it, though.

Working my way slowly through Independence Day. Until I started it, I hadn't realised it was one in a series. I agree with westmoors that it's a bit of a slog; nevertheless I'm finding it rather addictive.

Oh, the Tomorrow3 person? That was hyped to high heaven at my Waterspoons. Not that it nudged me even as far as to read the back cover and find out what it was about, mind.

I'm with the Lady Pammlington-Owl. It definitely rings a bell. Wonder if Sue's read it?

I’ve never heard of it. I’ve heard of the T3 book and looked at it a few times both on the Audible catalogue and in-store, but never been tempted to read it.

I'm struggling with ID, not sure I have the patience for another big American novel. I'll read one more chapter to give it a final chance.
