I used to love him and read loads - but not for ages. Think Brooklyn Follies was the last one I read and that was probably twenty years ago. Eeeeek! His wife Siri Hustvedt is good too.

Re. the picture over there (or down there), am I right to suppose that the girl on the left is played by Kunal Nayyar, the small building in the background by Lucy Hale, the bloke in the middle is Christina Hendricks, David Arquette is the lighthouse , and the lady on the right is a cameo by Scott Foley?

Lucy Hale is very much from the Lee Strasberg school of method acting. Strasberg had a whole semester on playing buildings and outhouses. David Arquette too - he only has two lines in the film and one of those is being the lighthouse foghorn.
