Not sure if I need help or just confirmation of what I think I've already decision the dilemma.
I started out wanting one of these,
santacruzbicycles.com
But now I think I want one of these,
http://www.ibiscycles.com/image.php?image=mojo_1&url=/mountain/mojo/&title=

Forks will be either the Fox 32's as recommended by Ibis or I might wait for DT to get theirs out in Jan or Feb.
Opinions (good ones) welcome

yes, I'll have one please.

but if you are desperate to go off-road then I don't think it'll cut the mustard, but I'm not sure how many of us require FS even off-road in Britain.

Right bikers - I need advice.

I don't get out of my seat to go up a hill - I just change down my gears...should I be getting out of my seat, like other cyclists?? I don't see the point when I don't seem to be slower than them...Not sure. Just want to know the most efficient way to cycle...

:-)

My cycle club coach person says best to stay in the saddle and get in the right gear, more efficient and avoids thunder thighs/exhaustion.
Show offs will get out of the saddle, according to him!
YOU DECIDE :-)

Thunder thighs Jude?? OMG - I wonder if all this cycling will give me thunder thighs??

Oh and for the record - I never have to get out of my seat because I will always change down - that's what gears are for...innit??!

Thant's what I said!
Apparently as long as you keep the cadence high by making sure you're in the right gear (i.e. a low one) all you get is lean thighs like a gazelle. I am mainly going to stay in my low gears with legs going round in a blur unless going downhill :-) I never have to get out of my seat either. granny gears rock.
