Hammerite - chains stretch over time and adjusters can get knocked easily, so your front derailleur probably needs adjusting with a screw driver to stop it dropping off. Have a look at bikemagic.com - it's more for mountain bikes but most bits are the same. Wipe it first then you can see the H (high) and L (low) screws. I'd highly recommend books on bike maintenance - saves you a fortune and lots of hassle. It once took me 3 hrs to setup my 9speed rear derailleur. It's a bit quicker these days If an idiot like me can do it, anyone can |
