I used to only make them at christmas to, SK, but this year, I'm breaking all my own rules and we've had them a few times.

Belated Happy birthday for Billy, I hope you all enjoyed that great looking cake.
GM, do you make your own pastry for those sausage rolls?

No, AR, I buy Jus Rol frozen ready rolled puff pastry. It works perfectly every time so I always keep some in the freezer, along with a sleeve or two of sausage meat from the local farm shop.

I baked chocolate banana cake today & delivered it to three other families isolating. One is the family with the C-19 + test, so no one can go out, one is a solo mum, so she can't go out, and finally to the childminder, where they all mixed. I didn't take photos, but it was appreciated. A good recipe that's gf, uses up bananas & that bit of sour cream we always have left!
