I hate cinnamon in sweet things but like it in Middle Eastern stews. And vegetables in cake are mostly an example of "just because it CAN be done doesn't mean it SHOULD be done".

I looked before I asked Linds - honest.
I like carrot cake and courgette cake is an acceptable way to use up a glut but I wouldn't buy them to make it.
