Anita Bean's black bean brownies are lovely - my MiL (about the unhealthiest eater in the world) prefers them to the ordinary brownies I've baked in the past (though that could say something about my normal brownies I suppose). Apple and blackberry crumble fingers are cooling and spiced pear loaves are in the oven. Did you decide what to bake DT? |

Thanks Fizz. Both cakes were a success and half the spiced pear cake was distributed round the village. Will need to freeze some of the remainder and some of the blackberry and apple crumble slices - which I think were nicer than the banana ones. |
