For the benefits of my waistline I have tried to not bake the last week or so.

Cracked on Wednesday and made a date and banana loaf - gone by breakfast the next day :-( Yesterday I made a batch of fudge. It was very more'ish. Lets just say I feel a bit ill now though.

Goodness. I haven’t made fudge since I was about 8 years old. No sugar thermometer in our house. It was a bit of a gamble if you got toffee or fudge or even a hybrid.

I've cheated today and taken delivery of a Biscoff treat box - Biscoff cupcakes, cookies, rocky road and cheesecakes. All things I would normally make myself, but not much lately!
