second time in the gym with the cuffs this morning, and I'm getting used to it. I'm redesigning my work out so that all of the upper body stuff is cables. It's certainly a lot quicker than lugging dumbells and plates about, but it's less satisfying, and, I reckon, less good for stability, but it's great to be back lifting again, and stop feeling like I'm morphing into a dropped lasagne |

Well done Mac I think i've read that cables might give more tension for longer throughout the movement, so you might find they give you some different gains |

That makes sense One learning is that you can't change the weights whilst attached to the machine - they go up when you move your hand, so it's a bit Laurel and Hardy |

Anything that works, is good. Easy to progress in small increments on the cables and work on time under tension too.

checked the dates, and it's another 4 weeks before I'm allowed to lift with my left hand, not that it feels remotely ready

Patience Mac, it'll be worth the wait I didn't go to the gym last night, i went to the driving range and played snooker with my son, very enjoyable |

My shed time last night was cruelly curtailed by Taxi duties. I managed some burpees and kettle bell swings. Not very "Raargh!" at all. Oh, then I did manage some pull ups so that's a bit more Raargh I guess. |
