Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Still doing my usual 2-3 times per week for an hour or so. Been doing that for about 35 years, so reasonably consistent. :-) G

Focusing on exercising muscle groups around my arthritic knee: I can't risk squatting, so I use a 90-degree seated leg press frame, placing my feet lower and closer together for knee work, and further up the 'plate' and wider for the hammys. Add leg raises and two hammy curls.

Impact: positive so far - no knee pain during or after running,

Hold on, I'll try and find a picture of the type in my gym - I *think* it's the same. I know it doesn't give me the same range of motion/little stabilising muscles impact of using a squat rack but I also feel like I'm less likely to hurt myself.

Talking of hurting yourself - I forgot to move my head this morning and whacked myself under the chin with the barbell whilst doing a push press. I was a trifle discombobulated. There is going to be a Bruise.

Yes, Grep. Much less prep to do than loading up with free weights. I have the seat well back: one notch from its full extent.
