Yes, Qwirkle would fit with the Ingenious/Sequence type of game nicely - I'd forgotten about that one.

Yes we like Qwirkle. Is Ingenious the game where you place pieces that are two hexagons stuck together with different coloured shapes on? If it is then that's another one we like. Very easy to understand the rules, but lots of challenging tactics - one of those games that probably has something like 'minutes to learn - a life time to master' written on the back of the box.

Love Qwirkle in our house. The adults like Alhambra, kids less so.

Try looking at Century Spice Road. I would also add to the recommendations above for Alhambra. Footpad - I've taken a long break from it, but I'm about 400 (of 1100ish) pieces in to painting all the figures for Memoir '44. Tabletop quality only, just primed, minimum detailing and a wash in most cases. Sadly it doesn't get played much recently, but I hope to change that at some point. |

Thanks Footpad for the list of games to. Not sure about Wingspan due to the topic (and it is so expensive) but Scythe looks very interesting indeed....similar price to Wingspan but just feel id enjoy that more.

Wingspan is very good - it's cleverly designed. You should try it out if you get a chance. Birdwatching isn't everyone's scene, but it's a clever game with really high production standards. We've only got the original game with US birds, but we're already thinking about the European birds expansion.

Are there any good online game shops, as proper shops will be shut? I'd like to use Amaz*n less!
