Is Ingenious the game where you place pieces that are two hexagons stuck together with different coloured shapes on? If it is then that's another one we like. Very easy to understand the rules, but lots of challenging tactics - one of those games that probably has something like 'minutes to learn - a life time to master' written on the back of the box.

Footpad - I've taken a long break from it, but I'm about 400 (of 1100ish) pieces in to painting all the figures for Memoir '44. Tabletop quality only, just primed, minimum detailing and a wash in most cases. Sadly it doesn't get played much recently, but I hope to change that at some point.

Birdwatching isn't everyone's scene, but it's a clever game with really high production standards. We've only got the original game with US birds, but we're already thinking about the European birds expansion.
