Fitz
Deffo 3 years VRap, although not sure that applies to all models, as I guess they're made by different manufacturers. On the other hand, they all use the Nespresso brand so maybe it's the same for all models.

Good reminder, I've run out of ground coffee!

I don't like instant, I tend to drink
a. Illy espresso made in a wee stove top.
b. Any ground coffee in a cafetiere
c. Cafe made americano, cappucino or machiato (occasionally a flat white, latte or double espresso).

Re. c. do any proper coffee loversthink Starbucks is OK or does everyone hate it and think only Costa, Nero or maybe Republic is OK ?and

Re b. any tips on really nice ground coffee? Should I spend a little more and get something fancier (I always just buy any old £2.50 - £3 a bag filter coffee). I can tell the difference between Kenya and Columbian if I had them both in front of me, but couldn't say which I prefer or which is better etc.

Mmm. Coffee. *coffee* tea *cuppa* *brew* *beverage* ? :-)G

I hate Starbucks... they have the audacity to call their tasteless stuff coffee pah!

It was confirmed yesterday... On my way to Hastings to do a photo shoot, we stopped at a motorway services with a Starsucks... even with the extra shot in it it hardly could be called coffee... :( It tasted burnt and insipid and didn't give me the caffeine kick a proper coffee gives me...

I never visit chains, Happy - I support good local cafes (although some of them have grown in number to local empires).

I love Sumatran Mandheling. Cafe Direct do a good Macchu Pichu coffee. The Raw Bean Co (Mexican) I've found to be good. I use these people locally: twodaycoffee.co.uk They would deliver to you I imagine. I've had the Sumatran from these people + Kenyan and Brazililan.

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
