Younger Daughter arrived on Friday, to stay overnight and do the local parkrun in the morning. She was hoping to get a parkrun pb (since The Groe is flat) and beat 20 minutes. Unfortunately, on Saturday morning the car wouldn't start... I was more disappointed than she was, as I'd been looking forward to cheering her on and taking photographs. She went for a local 7-mile run instead, and will come back another time for the Groe parkrun.

To add to the fun, I broke a tooth, leaving a sharp edge which keeps catching on the side of my tongue when I eat or even speak; I am living on porridge and soup to avoid chewing, and hope to get both tooth and car seen to tomorrow.
